Chiropractic Marketing with Social Networks and Video

May 31st, 2009 by Matthew Loop DC

by Matthew Loop, DC

When they first originated, I don’t think anyone could’ve imagined just how lucrative and powerful social networking websites like YouTube, Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were going to be for business growth and exposure. When I introduced social media and simple video marketing to the chiropractic profession three years ago, I was confident that these Web 2.0 platforms would change the face of marketing as we knew it. With that confidence, I still could not have predicted the explosion that has taken place globally in such a short amount time.

Discovering how to leverage social media and video marketing for my chiropractic practice was one of the best things that I could’ve ever done. As many are aware, this type of marketing / advertising is free so there is virtually no risk to the chiropractor. In 2005, I first began meeting and interacting with people from my local community on Myspace. I was literally meeting 50 people every single day which was getting me tons of free traffic exposure very fast. Initially, I was testing and tweaking certain things on my profile for greater conversions and how I was presenting myself. Then, I began to notice the phone calls and the new patients coming it. I have to say, I was pretty thrilled when this began to happen.

Within 24 hours of implementing my self-sufficient marketing tactics, I was successfully able to brand myself in the online community. I was able to send out information to subscribers weekly; material they chose to watch like informative videos and blogs. These people remained aware of my practice and what I was doing all the time. When you meet people online this way and keep them informed about your practice and chiropractics in general, you become the go-to chiropractor in your community. That’s just the beginning of the success you’ll unleash.

Online video submission is really the powerhouse of chiropractic marketing. It is the basis of my success, and the secrets of it are taught to my students. By making regular videos, you can greatly increase your standing as a chiropractor in the community. When you learn the right tricks and know the appropriate services where you can upload your videos, the potential is amazing. Just a tip: make sure you always compress your video before submitting. Use a program like Windows Movie Maker for PC or iMovie for the Mac.

I noticed a while back that videos receive tremendous index status in the major search engines. When you understand the basics of optimization, you can begin to see your material reach top billing as well. When the most highly targeted visitors see your videos and get the link to your website, you officially have the internet working for you and your chiropractic practice 24 hours a day. My new patients said they felt like they already knew me, even before stepping into my office. That says a lot! When I provide new health and chiropractic information over the internet to help and inform people, they sense that they’re not getting junk or spam. They’re getting information and support they can trust.

Almost half of the content online today is video, and its time you jumped on the bandwagon and put your chiropractic marketing into high gear. Remember, the more material you have online in the best variety, the more credibility you gain. Just imagine Googling someone or something, and coming up with a particular office or practice in multiple top billing positions. That person would automatically appear to be the authority on something, right?

Take people on a journey with you through your office and in many different locations. I always bring my video camera and tripod with me wherever I go because I never know when I’m going to have a great idea for an educational or promotion video for my chiropractic practice or other business ventures. I’ve shot videos at the office, at home, in Costa Rica, at the golf course, in the mountains, on the ocean, and many other locations. Viewers love to tag-along with you on your journey and see a change of scenery. Also, in my opinion, natural light is the best and most flattering.

Keep in mind that volume is really important when it comes to chiropractic video marketing. You want to make at least 1-2 videos a week to begin to successfully canvas the search engines with your material. This helps you to gain credibility in the market. When you outsource the videos production, you’re going to pay a lot of money. It really is so simple and easy to do it yourself. Ask people to subscribe to your YouTube video channel at the end of each one.

The important thing to remember is to relax, have fun, and to not be pretentious. Your videos should not be fake or give a false impression of who you really are. Convey your genuine feelings about wanting to help people and be the go-to person for their specific problems and this is what you will attract. With that in mind, provide a large amount of use value that your followers or people that see your video can implement that same day. This will give you even more credibility and build faster rapport with your community.

You truly do need a good chiropractic coach that understands the current marketing climate, and how modern technology and communications function for chiropractors today. Find a coach that specializes in chiropractic marketing utilizing web 2.0 and social media sharing sites. There’s no use finding someone who specializes in anything else. Once you find the right mentor, fasten your seat belt because your practice is about to explode on the internet!

If You Need A 700+ Credit Score, You Need A Fast Score System

May 30th, 2009 by Trisha Frauenhofer

by Trisha Frauenhofer

The statistics don’t lie ? only about 40% of consumers have truly good credit. This is defined as a credit score of more than 700 from all three of the credit bureaus; this is called Prime Credit standing and is a desirable thing to achieve. With this kind of credit score, your score will usually not be affected by minor issues such as late payments and inquiries.

If you?re one of the 60% of consumers who have a credit score of less than 700 from the three major bureaus, then lenders will look at you as an increased risk and will set interest rates accordingly. With a score under 700, it’s also a lot harder to predict what will affect your credit score and whether there will be a positive or a negative impact. When you apply for a loan, you may find your credit score suffering even if you are approved!

The credit scoring system is fixed? The credit bureaus have made it very hard to get a score of 700 and up because the lenders who fund the credit bureaus make more money in interest payments from consumers with lower credit scores. If you have a score of less than 700, then you need a fast score system to get you into a position where you’re not forking over any more of your hard-earned cash then you have to.

You can help to protect your credit score by keeping your debt to less than 25% of your annual net income. Check your tax return or ask your accountant if you’re unsure of this figure. When you make a purchase on credit, always ask yourself if this is truly a necessity and keep your debt under that 25% limit.

There are inherent flaws in the credit reporting system we use; the problem is that the credit bureaus themselves profit from the system. For years now, consumers have clamored for some sort of reform. The 2004 Fair Credit Reporting Act did resolve some problems, but didn’t solve the real issues, and definitely didn’t make any difference in the accuracy of the information the bureaus maintain. Worse still, it’s unclear whether this law is really enforced at all.

For instance, let’s say that you have a credit score of 600 and you’re applying for a loan. Whether or not your loan application is approved, your credit score drops by 35 points! If you had a credit score over 700, then your credit score would have been unaffected by this inquiry. A fast score system can help you to get your score over 700 so you can avoid all of these hassles.

You should be very careful about credit repair services as well. While they can indeed have some of the negative items on your report removed, be aware that this can actually lower your credit score. If your credit score is under 700, you’re better off not removing these items at least not right away. Instead, add new accounts in good standing to balance out the negative items. Your concern should be improving your credit score instead of simply making your report “look” better.

All About Transformers Character Sam Witwicky

May 30th, 2009 by Jane Clair

by Michael Nielsen

Transformers 2 ‘Revenge of the Fallen’ is a continuation of the action film ‘Transformers (2007)’. After hitting the charts it would have been unfair to discontinue the favorite characters and bring the favorite toys to life. So, the legacy continues with Transformers 2 bringing back the all-time favorite human Sam Witwicky.

The character of Sam is very inspirational in the movie. It is claimed in many movie magazines that his breath taking action will nearly mesmerize the audience. The most impressive part of his character is that he is a human fighting with machines, yet he is highly motivated to fight bravely. He is the only human protagonist in the film.

Sam Witwicky is played by young Shia LaBeouf, who is just a little bit more than an awkward geeky teen; he is a human stuck in between the war between the Autobots (the protagonist robots) and the Decepticons (the antagonist robots), as he was the one who found his grandfather’s glasses on which the coordinates of the All Spark’s location were imprinted. Sam destroyed Megatron (the antagonist of the movie) in Transformers and consequently shattered Cybertron (planet of the Transformers) and along with the Autobots found a new home on Earth.

Now, in Transformers 2, Sam needs a fresh in addition to free life. He wants release from the regular watchfulness moreover fussing of his parents and moreover from his consummately well-liked car Bumblebee (the car he bought in the previous movie). He becomes enlighten regarding the evolution of the Transformers after joining a new school (for studying astronomy) with the help of the piece of All Spark (supply of life for the transformers) left with him.

On his first day, Sam is uncovered to All Spark and starts doing strange things like reading incredibly quickly and understanding things above a standard human’s standard. He writes somewhat in a dissimilar language and seems oblivious of the fact that he is acting unusually.

Sam receives visions of Cybertronian symbols, which lead to him finding the source of Energon on planet Earth. Energon is the source of power for the Transformers, which gives them energy and power. Now, as it is an important factor for all Transformers, the Decepticons are after Sam to imprison him so that they can gain the source of Energon and ultimately have the power to destroy Earth and the Autobots.

Now, Sam is headed to diverse nation states and most vital of all is Egypt, where the sequel continues. Sam discovers innovative secrecy with legends in the Transformers times gone by. He discovers that the Transformers olden times are even older than the pyramids of Egypt themselves, and the Transformers are someway related to the beginning of civilization.

Sam faces new-fangled adventures away from home, people, and his adorer. Unaided only with the protract of his Autobot associates, he tackle new dangers and twists and turns along his journey. In Egypt, the main battle between Autobots and Decepticons is fought. Sam is once again ensnared in the middle of the passionate battle. He, certainly, helps his Autobot friends in gaining the Energon. We will have to wait until the release of ‘The Revenge of the Fallen’ to see the much-rumored Sam.

Membership site retention – Why are they leaving ?

May 29th, 2009 by Trevor Weir

by Trevor weir

Running a membership site can be a little hard particularly if it appears that your members are leaving faster than they are coming in. However, while this is without doubt quite a problem for you, your members have a different problem and that is perception of value for their time and or money.

Creating huge value is very important if you want to get members and keep those paying members. People want to feel like they have received significantly more than they paid for. It’s true that some may not gripe about getting fundamentally good information, however this should not stop you from attempting to raise the perception bar significantly. Nothing is more potent that word of mouth advertising

One of the easiest ways you can do this is to offer special bonuses. Try making a few of these surprises and others predetermined. Pleasant surprise offerings can be a way of letting your members know that you care. So, what kinds of bonuses would your site members think are great? What about bonuses related to additional material such as Private Label products related to your niche that you might pick up inexpensively. These can be for you to purchase and the perceived increased value can be quite high!

Other things one might do is offer multiple forms of content. We are not saying that all content needs to be in audio, video and text — though that wouldn’t be a bad idea, lol. For example, you could create an article, a video, and audio that all get the same basic information across, but in different formats. This is a good thing to do because you’ll be hitting on a variety of different learning styles. Member A might like to watch videos, while Member B Prefers to read text. Your chances of giving user satisfaction is much higher this way.

One of my media instructors, who is himself a great film director, taught me that sometimes, contrary to what your mom told you, cheating is the best way. That wonderful video that you took has an audio track, or two that can be re-used and re syndicated perhaps even as a podcast. Look mom, no additional work. It is also possible to get a rentacoder or guru.com writer to transcribe the audio track into text and now you have 3 different medium forms from the one source!

The last of our tips today, has to do with making your site look seriously professional. Some membership site owners manage to squeak by with minimalistic sites but the truth is that simple but relevant graphics and a clean easy to navigate layout will go far towards membership satisfaction. The old saying goes that “you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover,” but we all know that people end up doing that anyway! A great looking site is always a joy to explore.

Try to do all of the above mentioned tips. A rule of thumb is give 10 times the monthly value and your clients won’t leave. The first 60 days are the most critical, this is when more than 80% of your customers seriously consider whether they are getting value of their money.

Maximize Your Marketing Results with PLR Articles

May 29th, 2009 by Harry Constantine

by Harry Constantine

PLR content has become very popular recently , many marketers see it as an easy way to make an avalanche (see what I did there!) of money online. Many people find it difficult to create their own, unique articles, but there are many ways of getting the articles you require.

There are many people offering Private Label Rights (PLR) articles but the fact is people buy them but never use them. Having a good range of PLR articles on your hard drive gathering digital dust will never make you any cash! Unless you can use them, then it is a total waste of time and money in purchasing them.

To make some profits from your PLR content, you have to use them to market your web sites and/or product. You need to take advantage of them to brand yourself out there in the market place, called the World Wide Web. It is a huge marketplace, and you are a tiny fish in this huge pond. Unless you can be seen, then nobody will know you exist. It is crucial to make your articles stand out, making your articles stand out will be the difference between staying in the small pond or swimming out into the ocean with the rest of the big fish!

It is easy when you are starting out to buy every private label product that is being offered for sale. You see the potential of the product so you buy without a second thought as to what you need to do with it, and the time it will take to make any changes to them.

You might have bought these articles with rights and suddenly you are at a loss as to what you can do with them. You need to read any rights given first but you also need to also start to understand the potential of these articles and the different ways they can be making you money instantly on autopilot.

The biggest difference with commissioning a professional freelancer to write your articles for you and buying PLR is the number of people who will also get the same content when they are PLR. Having a ghost writer create exclusive articles for you will mean that you can use them straight away. They will not need to be edited, especially if they are well written (always ask for samples before you hire a writer). The one thing you should do with these exclusive articles is to add a bio box and have a clickable link back to your sites.

Usually with PLR you are allowed to claim authorship of the articles but do check on any rights that come with the PLR content first. You are normally allowed and encouraged to make changes to the articles, to make them unique. But if you do buy PLR articles then you always need to remember that you will also be sharing them with a number of other people. Even if the restriction is for 30 people that means that another 29 people will have exactly the same articles that you have purchased. If there rights allow these articles to be sold to others then even more people will have the same articles.

There is money to be made with Private label articles, but you need to be aware that it will take some time to do the work required, however the more work you put in to make your PLR articles truly unique, the more benefits you will see later on. If you use these articles wisely then you will see the benefits from buying them. What you shouldn’t do is buy hoping to make money, while all the time they remain on you computer. The articles are worth far more to you if they are “out there” promoting your websites and products than when they are sitting on your hard drive gathering digital dust.

As you consider using PLR articles you will be able to take advantage of articles in many different niches, and be able to sell those that are not relevant to your niches. When you are rewriting these PLR content you will be gaining a lot more knowledge on a subject and you might want to consider moving into that niche as well. So whilst it may seem like a tedious job, spending hours editing PLR material, I can assure you that the end rewards more than make up for those hours you spent typing away on your keyboard.

A Novice’s Guide To How To Get Backlinks For A New Site

May 28th, 2009 by Winson Yeung

by Winson Yeung

Starting a new website is an exciting project, however, trying to get backlinks to it and get noticed can seem a little daunting. Increasingly, it is getting these that will decide the success and failure of your site, no matter how striking the content. Finding how to get these is not as hard as it would appear.

However, you should set up a blog that will essentially sell your site for you. Make sure you work on it every day, and post excerpts from the best areas of your site, with backlinks to the relevant page on the site. Be sure not to give too much of the good stuff away, so you generate the click you need.

Another effective technique is to use Link Baiting, but you should be careful not to abuse this and drift into spam. People like to read and comment about controversies or even mildly offensive subjects. If they are shocked or intrigued by a subject you have written, they are more likely to tell their contacts and write about it on their own blogs with backlinks to your original posting.

Another winning method is to get known on relevant forums. Rather than just charging in and telling everyone about your site, take your time to really understand each member and see what their interests are. It shouldn’t take too long. Armed with this, you will be able to contribute to discussions well, and point people to your site to get further information. Working in much the same way as a post, give a little and promise a lot. Just don’t take liberties.

It is unlikely you would be bothering to attract people to a site that you are not proud of, so use this belief to open discussions with other webmasters. Ask them to have a look at your site and comment on it, and offer them a Link Exchange to generate traffic between the two. Be sure to select relevant sites, with subjects in common with yours, and be sure not to pester or send bulk mailings. This will have the reverse effect and see numbers reduce.

Finally, take a look at free web directories and submit your links to them. There are a host of these around, and are quite easy to find from on searches. It will take some time, but it will be worth trawling through them all and getting your site out there, particularly in the first instance.

Checking Ad Performance With Split testing

May 28th, 2009 by Assistant Editor

by Brian Basch

Split testing is a useful technique for checking the performance of your ads and campaigns. You can use this technique for testing ads and different sets of keywords. You can also use it for testing sales pages and landing pages.

To test the efficiency of sets of keywords, you can create two PPC advertising campaigns which are identical except for the keywords used. By monitoring the campaigns it will be clear which set of keywords perform the best.

So what exactly is split testing? It is when you have two ads that are both advertising the same product and you compare the performance of the two. You will keep tweaking one ad until it performs more efficiently than the first. This process can then be repeated using different ads until you find an ad that performs to your standards. You will then have your optimal ad. To keep track of the traffic and sales conversions, you can link the ad to a landing page.

Different ways split testing can help your PPC campaigns are; ads, sales pages, keywords and landing pages.

Using a similar process as that used to split test ads, you can also split test the landing pages and sales pages of your PPC campaigns. Start by creating two separate pages. Then direct half of your traffic to each page. After analyzing your sales conversions you will be able to clearly see which page is more effective. Then by making changes to the weaker page, eventually you will have a page which outperforms the first page. As you continue this process you will create the best page possible for your final campaign.

Why should it be part of your PPC campaign management? Split testing allows you to perfect your campaign ad so that you can get the most profits from your PPC ad campaign. A landing page or sales page should also have optimum performance or your PPC advertising campaign will be wasted.

If you want your split testing to be as effective as possible, you will need to have high quality ads to begin with. To create well constructed ads, you will want to have a catchy headline, a body that lists two benefits and a call to action which compels the reader to click the link that will direct them to your sales page.

There is software available which can make split testing your PPC advertising campaign simpler for you. This can be a valuable tool if you are managing multiple PPC campaigns and don’t have the time to go through this process for each of them yourself. However, if you have only one or two campaigns to manage, it is recommended you follow the steps mentioned manually.

Split testing your PPC advertising campaign will take a lot of time, but the rewards are definitely worth it in the end. By changing just a few words in your ads you can possibly turn your whole campaign around. If nothing else, headlines should definitely be tested as they are one of the most important factors in pulling in potential customers.
