Adsense Ace

I have a question regarding Google Adsense. I recently created an account and have the code ready and was planning on putting it on my InvisionFree forum (commonly called Invision Power Board) however i tried to put it in the board wrappers and the css and recieved the following messages:
You may not use a Google AdSense code in your CSS.
You may not use a Google AdSense code in your Board Wrapper.
Please tell me what to do and dont tell me anything else. No spam posts plz!

I have a blog and was wondering if I should use adsense or w/e to earn money. How would I convince my parents to let me?

And also, does anyone else use it?

heres my problem -
I have adsense and blogger accounts, in my blog when i put on a new adsense item, its easy enough and it just adds an advertisement wherever i place it. But then when i sign into adsense, these ads arent showing up – ive only started the bloggs today and put the ads up, does it take a while to kick in or what?

Also – when i apply for an ad on adsense and it gives you the code to paste, where do you paste that in blogger, i know you go to the html part but where abouts do i put it?
